About this policy
Contic is an application for creating AI-assisted text, images, videos and voiceovers. This policy explains how information is used when you create an account, make content, buy credits or contact us.
Information you provide
We process your account and profile details, sign-in information, prompts, scripts, and any photos, videos or audio you submit. We store your generated results and the settings needed to show them in your Library. If you contact support or report content, we also process the information you include in that request.
Purchases and technical information
We process subscription status, credit balances and store transaction identifiers to deliver purchases and keep your wallet accurate. Your app store handles payment details; Contic does not collect your payment card number. Technical information, such as app version, request timing and error information, helps us operate the service, investigate problems and prevent abuse.
Analytics and crash reports
The iOS and Android apps use Google Analytics for Firebase and Firebase Crashlytics, services provided by Google, to understand how Contic is used and to find and fix problems. They receive information about how you use the app, such as the screens you open, the features and templates you use, whether a creation succeeded and the steps of a purchase; device and app information, such as the device model, operating system, app version, language and an identifier for this installation; your approximate location, derived from your IP address; crash and error reports; and your Contic account ID. They never receive your prompts, scripts, captions, uploads, generated results or email address. This information is not used for advertising, the advertising identifier is not collected, and you are not tracked across other companies' apps or websites. Google keeps analytics data for up to 14 months and crash reports for up to 90 days. The web app does not use these services.
How we use your information
We use information to provide the features you request: signing you in, generating and storing content, managing credits and purchases, and answering support requests. We also use the information needed to secure accounts, investigate misuse and meet applicable legal obligations. Where consent is required, we ask for it and provide a way to withdraw it.
AI processing and your permission
Creating with AI requires sending the text and files you submit, including photos that show faces, to third-party AI services that process them to return your result: Runware for images and videos (running models from Google, OpenAI, ByteDance, Black Forest Labs and Kuaishou), OpenRouter for captions and scripts, and the Google Gemini API for voiceovers. Only content needed for the request is sent. Contic asks for your permission before this processing begins. You can withdraw that permission in Privacy policy in the app. This pauses new AI requests until you allow them again; it does not undo processing of requests already submitted.
Other sharing
Service providers may process information needed for hosting, sign-in (Google Firebase, Sign in with Apple), app analytics and crash reports (Google Firebase), email delivery (Resend), purchase management (RevenueCat and your app store) and support. We may also disclose information when required by law or when necessary to protect users and the service from abuse. We do not sell personal information or share it for third-party advertising.
Storage and deletion
Content saved to your account remains available until you delete it or your account, subject to service availability and removal of prohibited content. You can delete results from your Library in the app. Deleting your account removes its profile and linked content records and starts removal of stored uploads and generated files. File removal may finish after the account records are deleted. Your app store keeps its own purchase records under its policies. Copies you have downloaded, shared or stored outside Contic are not removed by deleting them here.
Your choices and rights
You can update your profile, manage device permissions, withdraw AI permission and delete your account in the app. Account deletion is also available through the Account Deletion page on our website. Depending on applicable law, you may have rights to access, correct, export, delete, restrict or object to processing of your information, and to complain to a data protection authority. Contact support to make a request; we may need to verify that the account is yours.
Security and international processing
Contic uses access controls and protected device storage for session tokens. No service can guarantee that information will always be secure, so keep your sign-in details private and submit only content you have permission to use. Processing may take place outside the country where you live. Applicable data protection requirements continue to apply to that processing.
Children
Contic is not intended for children under 13. If you believe a child under 13 has provided personal information, contact support so we can investigate and remove it as appropriate.
